At Maison Muguet, we are drawn to jewellery with something more to discover.

Sometimes it begins with a particular silhouette. Sometimes it is an unexpected material, a distinctive colour, or the way a piece catches the light. What keeps our attention, however, is often what sits behind the design: the thinking, craftsmanship and intention that give a piece its character.

This is what led us to CLED.

At first glance, CLED’s jewellery feels playful and sculptural. Translucent forms, luminous colour and clean metalwork give each piece a strong visual identity. Look closer, and another story begins to emerge.

The glass at the centre of each design has already lived once.

A Familiar Material, Seen Differently

CLED transforms discarded glass into its signature Eco Gems, reconsidering a material that might otherwise be overlooked or thrown away.

There is something compelling about this transformation.

Glass is familiar to all of us. We encounter it every day in bottles, containers and objects we rarely stop to notice. In CLED’s hands, that same material is given an entirely different presence.

It becomes something to wear, keep and look at more closely.

For us, this is where the idea of sustainability becomes particularly interesting. It is not treated simply as a message attached to the finished product. Instead, the material itself becomes part of the design language.

Its previous life is not hidden. It is transformed.

From Discarded Glass to Eco Gem

The process behind each CLED piece is considered and hands-on.

The glass is collected, cleaned, shaped and eventually set into the finished jewellery. Each stage gradually moves the material further away from its original form, while still allowing something of its past to remain visible.

The result is not an attempt to make recycled glass look perfectly uniform.

Quite the opposite.

Tiny bubbles may remain suspended inside the glass. Colours can shift subtly from one piece to another. Contours and proportions may vary slightly as each Eco Gem is formed.

These differences are part of what gives the jewellery its character.

Beauty in Variation

We often speak about individuality in jewellery, but with CLED it exists quite literally within the material.

No two Eco Gems are exactly alike.

A small bubble, a variation in transparency or an organic contour means that every piece carries its own details. What might traditionally have been considered an imperfection instead becomes evidence of the making process and the material’s transformation.

It is a quieter kind of beauty.

One that becomes more apparent the longer you look.

Rather than relying on conventional ideas of preciousness, CLED finds value in material, craftsmanship and imagination—something that strongly resonates with the way we approach jewellery at Maison Muguet.

Sustainability Is the Beginning, Not the End

The sustainability story is meaningful, but it is not the only reason we were drawn to CLED.

The design has to stand on its own.

CLED’s jewellery balances soft transparency with sculptural form. The glass catches and refracts light, while the silhouettes remain contemporary and easy to wear. Some pieces feel playful through colour and proportion; others are quieter, allowing the material itself to become the focus.

There is a sense of personality without excess.

They are pieces that can add something unexpected to a simple white shirt, sit naturally alongside everyday jewellery, or become the small detail that changes an otherwise minimal look.

For us, that wearability matters just as much as the story behind the piece.

Why We Selected CLED

Our selection at Maison Muguet is shaped by jewellery that feels considered in every sense.

We look for pieces with a distinct design language, thoughtful craftsmanship and a perspective that feels relevant to how people want to dress and live today.

CLED brings these elements together naturally.

The material is conscious without feeling didactic. The design is distinctive without becoming difficult to wear. And every piece carries small variations that make it feel personal.

It is jewellery that invites a second look—not only because of how it was made, but because it is simply beautiful to wear.

Thoughtful in material. Distinctive in form.
